Aquatec offers a specially designed, non-electric Automatic Shut-Off Valve (ASV2000) for R.O. systems using our Permeate Pumps and a hydropneumatic storage tank.They are particularly beneficial in low to moderate usage applications, as when water is drawn a
glass at a time, because they prevent the system both from needless overuse and from “TDS creep”. These valves shut off the feedwater when the storage tank pressure reaches 90% of the feed pressure, where standard valves are set at only 67%. This higher setting increases the overall amount of stored water and improves flow rates from the faucet. The ASV2000 includes 1/4” John Guest fittings for ease of installation, and are popular both with OEMs (system builders) and as aftermarket upgrades for non-manifolded R.O. systems.
