Over four years ago, Aquatec introduced our patented variable speed technology, the Aquajet RV Series, to an industry that had seen little water system advancement since the 1980’s. Leading RV manufacturers including Monaco Coach, Fleetwood, Airstream, Newmar, Foretravel, and Country Coach were among the first to upgrade their high-end water systems by including our Aquajet RV pumps as standard equipment. Two years later, Aquatec introduced our ES version, an efficiency model designed for smaller coaches and aftermarket installations. For the very first time, RV owners everywhere could enjoy the same upgraded, “just like at home” water system being offered on many of the world’s finest coaches.

Today, as variable speed technology is becoming increasingly popular throughout the RV industry, Aquatec remains committed to its continued product leadership. Our unmatched experience with both RV manufacturers and owners has enabled us to provide “the best RV pumps inthe world”.

Q. Received Aquajet RV (or ES Model) Pump without installation instructions?
A. See IMI 114 for installation instructions.

Q. The Aquajet RV (or ES Model) Pump is not working properly?
A. See IMI 125 manual including a trouble shooting guide.

Q. Received a 55-Aquajet-ORV/ARV (or OES/AES model) Pump with no literature?
A. See IMI 151 Trouble Shooting Guide
    See IMI 152 Installation Instructions.
    See IMI 153 Warranty

Q. Pump starts when no water is demanded, then shuts off briefly, and restarts, etc.
A. The start up is caused by a pressure drop in the plumbing after the pump (locate leak and correct), or by a back leak through the pump (install a CVK 553 check valve per IMI 157).

Q. Pump operates sporadically in my Monaco Dynasty?
A. Remove, or by-pass, the air charged accumulator.

Q. Pump shuts off, even though a faucet is open?
A. If the faucet flow is less than  ½ to ¾ gallons per minute, the pump may reach its shut off pressure.

Q. Are parts available for field repair?
A. Major sub-assemblies may be ordered by contacting the Sales Department.

Q. Pump does not run?
A. This normally involves an electrical problem. See IMI 125 Trouble Shooting Guide for the Aquajet RV and ES models, and IMI 151 for the 55-Aquajet RV and ES models.

Q. Is the shut off pressure adjustable?
A. The shut off, and turn on pressures, should only be factory adjusted. Consult Aquatec.

Q. I can hear the pump running, but no water is being delivered?
A. This is usually a priming problem. See the Trouble Shooting Guide.

Q. Pump won’t shut off?
A. The shut off pressure cannot be reached. See the Trouble Shooting Guide.

Q. Do I need a relay to insure proper pump operation?
A. It depends. If your electrical system has only 1 switch to activate the pump, a relay is not necessary. A 2 switch system usually has lots of small gage wiring. A separate 14 AWG or larger battery/pump wire, and a relay, will improve the operation, and allow the use of a third switch. If the coach has a 7 amp Intellitec controller, you must either add a relay, or replace with a 10 amp model.
